    « Almost perfect »
I've had my Haan for about two weeks now and I really enjoy it. It's pretty quiet, has a nice long cord and the pads do a great job of picking up 90% of the water left behind (the other 10% usually evaporates in about a minute. FYI - I have pre-finished hardwood). The Velcro on the pads makes them very easy to attach, and their texture ( a mix of rough and soft cloth) is the perfect mix for gliding effortlessly over the floor while leaving the cleaned areas pristine.

I've found it particularly useful in cleaning my kitchen floors daily, which track plenty of oil/dirt/food from all the foot traffic. Same goes for under my kids high chair.

SO WHY DID'NT I GIVE IT 5 STARS?:

    1. It takes about 3 minutes to heat up
-It feels like forever, especially compared to my old h2o mop which took only 60 seconds (then again, the h2o mop stunk).

    2. It doesn't always pickup large stuck-on food
-I have kids, so parents know exactly what I'm talking about. Kid drops food, food gets stepped on, food becomes part of the floor. This mop does about a "B-" job of picking that kind of stuff up. Then again, I bought it to clean my floor's and (aside from this fact) it does a good job of doing it.

My advice is to get this mop, but buy extra cleaning pads. I have about 7, so that I always have a fresh one whenever I want to clean my floors. Once I use them, I just put them in with my wash and let them air dry. This is from experience. If you reuse the same pad over and over again (without washing it) it will make you house smell like a moldy towel.

    « Worth the wait »
I had seen the Haan steamer on an infomercial a couple of years ago and liked what I saw, but didn't want to spend the money at the time. The steamer was recently on sale at a local department store, but they received limited quantities and were sold out when I went to purchase it. I decided that I didn't want to wait any longer, so I ordered the steamer here. It's great! It's very lightweight and easy to use. I've sanitized some carpets, my couch, and some chairs and they dried very quickly. The pillows on my bed took longer to dry though. I would recommend this product.

    « Floor steam cleaner »
I have been very pleased with this floor cleaner. I was concerned initially with the length of the cord but it has proven to be long enough for my rooms. Just be sure you follow the instructions about the tilt of the handle otherwise it is very hard to push across the floor.

After reviewing a few of these steam mops I decided on the Haan. It heats up to a higher temp and holds more water than some of the others. I also like that it continuously steams. Its MUCH easier to use than a mop and bucket and really seems to get the floors a lot cleaner than using the swiffer wet jet.
Initially I wasn't too sure about it. It left the floors much more wet than I thought it would, but after working with it for a bit realized that when it begins to do that its time to change the pad. I've also noticed that the cleaner my floors get the less I have to put a new pad on. So it has been very worth it to me to ge the extra microfiber pads. I read a few complaints about the cord holder and cord length. To me its no more different than working with the cord for my vacuum cleaner, you do as much as you can then plug it into a different outlet.
The only thing that I can think of that would make it nicer is to have some kind of pad that gets down into the grout so that would be easier to clean.

    « Don't buy. »
I had a Bissell steam cleaner and I really liked the job it did on the floor. However, after I'd had it for about one year, the pump stopped working. I bought this one and it pretty much sucks. With the Bissell you had a button to push to control the steam -- this one doesn't have that. You just have to rely on how much steam comes out -- there is no control -- and I don't think enough steam is emitted. It doesn't get the floors nearly as clean and the Bissell. I would not recommend this to anyone.
