Kitty Hut

The kitty hut is a little small but that doesn't matter one bit to my cat. She is normally a long haired cat that we keep shaved for the sake of our furniture. Since we introduced her to the heated Kitty Hut she rarely leaves it. She loves it. I love that I don't have to worry about her being cold anymore.

Highly disappointed

Aside from the fact that the product took 5 days to travel fewer than 100 miles, I found it a great disappointment. First of all the advertisements indicated that the hut top could be positioned up or down, but that was not the case. More importantly, the heated bed never felt even slightly warm after being plugged in for hours. My cat rejected it out of hand, even though she loves her fleece beds.

Heated Kitty Hut

The kitty hut arrived in a timely manner and was exactly as advertised. The problem is Misty has yet to use it. It came in December and it is halfway through February and has not been used. I bought it since she loves the electric blanket on my bed, but I can't leave it on all day when I'm at work. I thought the kitty hut was the perfect solution. She hides behind it, sniffs it, but doesn't use it. I even sprinkled catnip in it to entice her with no luck. It's not the fault of the company, but I spent a lot of money for something she doesn't use. Cats...go figure! Kay L.

My kitty and I are so happy we purchased this pet bed. It keeps her warm in our unheated home. She is a senior and needs the extra warmth. It is true that the hood does not stay up by itself, but I folded a small blanket and put it inside to prop up the hood. I'm going to buy a few more for my other cats.

Good for midget cats

This cat warmer is shown with a an 8 lb. cat...or less. It works but was too small for my cat. He is 16 yrs old and very thin, but weighs about 13 lbs. They should put a size guide on it. I had to cut off the bonnet so he could sit on top of it.
