Dewalt Impact Driver
»
I found this tool is better for driving screws than the cordless drill I used in the past. the battery lasts longer and it is smaller and handier. The only thing I found strange with the purchase was it did not come with a case. My nephew ordered one at the same time and it came with a case. I guess that is kind of hit or miss.

Great tool

I use this tool for work. It works fantastic! If you already have the right battery and charger for Dewalt, buying the bare tool can bring major savings. The only negative might be that it doesn't come with its own carrying case, but it has been worth my money to buy.

Compact, powerful and with a light

We have used the prior model for two years. The new model is lighter, easier to grip and has a small light that clearly illumniates the work area.

Fantastic tool

The Dewalt impact driver is well balanced and very light compared to using a standard 18 volt drill. Although it does not have a regular chuck it is not hard to get used to the 1/4" chuck. The impact feature makes driving long screws a cinch and without any effort. The fact that it is 18 volt allows for hours of use. If you were building a deck this tool is a must have. I do a lot of building and it has proven invaluable for me.
