I bought this for my mother who has Macular Deginerastion and has a hard time seeing. This magnifying glass is light weight and has almost no distortion around the edges. Being a 5 power, it is larger than most higher power Magnifiers - all of this makes it very easy for her to use. One of the better little surprises for her!!!!

I bought this for my 88 year old father. It must be 5x area magnification as it wasn't any more powerful than any magnifier you could buy in a drug store.

Nice exploratory tool for kids

I got it for my kid to look at bugs and patterns on clothing etc. It is light weight and nice for the kids to hold and observe things. My kid was following a small spider the other day and was looking at sand grains, leaves etc. Kept him quite inquisitive.
The item was shipped for free which was nice!
