Buckcherry is back with a purpose, unleashing their newest effort, Black Butterfly. Following the platinum success of 15, these LA rockers haven't lost any of their edge.

Hard rockin
»
This album is exactly what we've grown to expect from Buckcherry. It rocks hard from start to end, even the "slow songs". I'm sure glad Josh Todd regrouped with Buckcherry instead of joining the old "Rage against the Machine" back before they found Chris Cornell.
"To drunk to ...." is the best party song of the year.

Buckcherry nails it again!
»
Allthough I thought they would never top 15,Buckcherry nails it again with their blood pumping, fist pounding,in yuor face don't give a damm rock. They write what they want and don't care if the critics like it or not. Something to be admired these days.

Not as good as 15 but............
»
When I first listened to "Black Butterfly" I was completely disappointed. I thought "15" was an awesome record, and was hoping Buckcherry would push the envelope further to finally create a hard rock disc that would become the pinnacle of their career. To me, "Black Butterfly" plays it safe, and seemingly follows a similar pattern as "15". It left me a little disappointed, but I kept playing it, and you know what..... "Black Butterfly" has grown on me quite a bit since its release date. While it doesn't have the same impact on me as "15" did, it is still a good album, and one the band can be proud of.
The ought to have several hit singles as the following songs are highly listenable: "Rescue Me", "Too Drunk", "Tired of You", "Rose", "A Child Called It" and the sorry like "Don't Go Away". I can see most of these becoming new fan favorites.
The Bottom line: Give Black Butterfly a chance. It will grow on you. Recommended Listening!!
