I have a weather station from LaCrosse Technology that has worked great for the one year that I've owned it. I recently moved to a new house, and the cable guy accidentally stepped on the wind gauge that was sitting on my floor until I had the time to install it. Sure enough, it was damaged with no hope of being repaired. To my surprise, I found the same model right here, so I ordered it as a replacement. I installed it, and it worked great. But 2 weeks later, my weather station stopped getting signals from it. It is the exact same model as my old wind gauge, so it should have worked just fine. But, I was wrong. So, I sent it back to Amazon, and I received yet another defective one. After that I just got my money back from Amazon. I would not recommend that anyone purchase this item, because it probably won't work properly. I suggest that you just buy a whole new weather station instead of ordering this as a replacement.
