Replacement bulbs hard to find and may not be the problem

I ordered this light to replace one exactly like it that had stopped working after 2 years. Thinking it was a burned out bulb, I found that the only place that carried replacement bulbs was about 30 miles from our home. So I ordered 2 from the Ott Lite company (the 2nd being at half price). When they arrived, the lamp still did not work, so we realized it was the transformer or ballast that had gone bad. We ordered the second lamp from Amazon (which arrived quickly, of course), and found that the original bulb was fine - so we now have 4 bulbs for this lamp (maybe you'll see them at e-bay!!) and are hoping the ballast lasts long enough to use them!
But, we obviously liked the lamp well enough to order another one just like it. It gives great light, and the switch is near the bulb area so it is convenient to turn on and off. Had it not been for the difficulty finding replacement bulbs, and then finding that the ballast was the problem rather than the bulb, I would have definitely given this product a 5!
