Good carpet cleaner
»
I bought this for my daughter, since she has 3 kids and all carpet, and aI bought her a cheap brand a couple years ago. I recently borrowed it to check it out and it works great, except for the furniture attachment (get a reasonable priced steamer). The cleaner worked great, had to fill and empty containers more than I would like, but isn't that what professional cleners are for. This is great for those in between cleanings, and does a great job.

Out performs the Bissel hands-down!
»
I had owned a Hoover years ago. When it no longer performed well, I purchased a Bissell Pro Heat. It never worked well; always leaked from the cleaning solution container. I should have taken it back after the first time I used it, but I kept thinking it was my fault and tried different things to try and make it work better. At best, the water in the dirty water tank would be light brown. I used my new Hoover today and the water was black! I couldn't believe it. We don't have pets or small children and always take our shoes off in the house. I had the carpets professionally cleaned earlier this year so I didn't expect such dramatic results. I highly recommend this machine.

Exceeded Expectations!
»
I cleaned my carpets a couple of months ago and find that this is much easier to use than the rental I used. We just got a puppy last week so it is really getting a work out! It is easy to get out and clean up the little puddles we occasionally find and the carpets don't take long to dry because it really picks up the water after cleaning. I also went over our dining room that I cleaned with the rug doctor and found it picked up even more ground in dirt. I have always used Hoover vacuums and was always pleased. I figured I couldn't go wrong with a Hoover SteamVac and I was right.

Much better than expected
»
I read all the Amazon reviews and decide to go with the F7411 rather than the slightly cheaper F5 series because of the separate cleaning fluid/water chambers and the upholstery tools. I had it delivered by the next day and it did an incredible job! Easy to install and the carpet is dry quickly as the backstroke sucks up the water. I have two puppies and they are... well puppies... there was no way we were getting rid of Gwen and Luca but the carpet was something to consider changing. We had professional do the job and it was "okay"... now my pups are older and still have accidents.... so I took a chance on this and it has incredibly enough restored the carpet to a nearly new appearance. It is worth the extra cost to keep the cleaner and the water separate.. no mixing needed and it was amazing to see the dirt coming into the reservoir for the dirty water... both reservoirs are easy to clean. The package included a long hose, a Rotating cleaning tool and an unholstery brush. It also comes with enough cleaning fluid to start out. Did a large bedroom in no time. Only drawback so far... thing is a bit heavy but I guess that's why it is so powerful.
Buy it.

works well

the steamvac works well, and does what it is supposed to do. The logistics of plugging in-out the accessories and storing them are improvable, but not too annoying. I would buy it again.
