If you've not experienced the brilliance of an LED light--you've really got to see it to believe how much white, super-bright illumination comes from such a small and lightweight light! Three power settings - 1 LED, 7 LED 21 LED - plus flashing mode for emergencies. The two-way adjustable headband lets anyone customize a perfect fit. Three AAA batteries included last many-times longer than with ordinary flashlights. Anyone who needs a powerfully bright light that's spot-on - and keeps their hands free - will find this light indispensable: mechanics, plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians. Great for cycling, running, hunting and other outdoor recreation.

This is a nice light although the multi tiered turning on is sort of annoying

I live in an area with no street lights and far enough north that during the fall and winter it is dark both mornings and afternoons I use this headlamp to light my way when I have put out the trash and other in the dark activities. It allows me much greater flexibility in trying to see as well as where I can walk safely after dark. Most importantly it frees up one hand by my not having to carry a flashlight with it.

Low priced but BRIGHT!

I bought 10 of these to pass out to my field guys in case they need quick lighting out on their jobsites. These headlamps are constructed cheaply, and they probably won't last very long if used on a regular basis, but for an emergency light you can be assured that they kick out quite a blast of light. Surprisingly (to me) only 1 out of the 10 was defective; the switch seemed a little balky when I first tried to turn it on but it works fine now. Incidentally, what the heck would anyone use the 4th light mode for ... all LEDs flashing at once?
