The mattress has not really been fully used yet since the baby is an infant, but it has a comfortable feel. The vendor delivered it on time and in excellent condition. Ask me about this product again in two years!!! That's when I'll really have an opinion!!

OKAY but very stiff

Baby didn't sleep well until I put snug fleece mattress topper under his sheet on top of the mattress. The mattress itself was WAY too hard which is bad for their spine. For the next baby I'm buying an organic latex mattress (don't worry they are completely hypoallergenic and safe) from DAX stores for $324.

I ordered the naturepedic mattress- usually uncomfortable ordering online but when I went to store where I purchased crib (unhappy that I was informed 2 weeks for delivery and this was 5 weeks from date of order at store)- the sales person advised that I shop online for mattress.
Although nervous, I took the plunge and within the week, I received the mattress in perfect condition.

Healthy and authentically organic

My son was born 4 weeks early with respiratory distress syndrome. I have asthma and allergies to some cats, but not my cat. With these risk factors and the fact that more and more children have asthma these days we decided to invest our small income in a quality organic mattress. We researched what exactly are the toxins in a typical mattress. After reading about the ingredients and the toxins inhaled, I wanted an organic mattress for us as parents! Instead we just made sure that the surface our son would spend so many hours on is the safest possible to do the most important work possible; breathe. I feel reassured every time I lay him in his crib, that we made a significant effort to raise him in a healthy environment even though we can't afford to buy everthing organic.

Heathy Organic Crib Matress and made in USA to boot!

It has been a challenge finding products for our baby girl that are organic and made in the USA. Most "certified organic" clothing I found is made in China and sorry to say this, but I have my doubts about the regulations when it comes to organic and China.
I did not think I was going to find a crib mattress that fit my criteria, organic and made in the USA. Until I found this one.
The mattress itself is extremely well made, easy to clean and very durable. I feel that we have made the best choice we could when it comes to our girl's crib mattress. I know that it is not an inexpensive item, however after reading about the materials used in and on mattresses, we decided that our girl is worth it!
There is a version with less coils for less money as well, however I wanted to get the firmest one possible (first time mom ya know). The mattress fit our crib perfectly, looks wonderful and we are very happy with it.
