Product is what they said it would be only used a few times
the test will come in spring and summer. I think it will be exactly what
I was looking for. it's great that you can put your ipod inside of it.

Nice, solid, and compact, well thought out. Sounds great, but not load enough for some head banger types. Batteries are pricey but most are. The external power transformer is a pain at times ,it tends to fall out of cords or plugs. It makes a more compact unit, thats more important to me.I'm very pleased over all. Mike from Wi.

Very disappointed

This radio severly distorts the music if the volumn is higher than 6 on on the volume. I have a 20 year old York boom box that cost less than $60 that still has better sound. This is the worst Makita product that I have owned.I have been using Makita tools for about 20 years and am still using my first cordless drill. I am considering sending it back to the Corporate Offices but I do not belive that they would care about the lack of quality in their products as they are making these in China now.Apparently brand loyalty no longer is a concern to the powers that run Makita.
