All SHOW - NO Go...

Dirt Devil 0313SLV KRUZ Cordless Floor Vacuum Cleaner We purchased this exactly one year ago, and I am now awaiting delivery on a replacement charging deck. Although the stick unit engages properly into the deck, the light does not go on, not allowing the unit to charge anymore. Even when it was operating correctly, it would not hold a charge for very long. Also, this vacuum is not in the least bit versatile. It has but one specific task: that is to roll easily across your hard floor surfaces and look absolutely stunning doing it. Let's face it - I didn't buy this vacuum for function - I bought it for its handsome form. Who really cares if it works or not? Designed by Karim Rashid, its intellectual space-age aesthetic was its only real attraction to me. Hopefully, production will soon end on this MOMA machine. I'll pack mine away (in its original box) so on eBay, my grand children can cash in on its future collectible value. Meanwhile, for exceptional results, I'll be forced to rely on a real vacuum cleaner - my 2009 Oreck Platinum XL - and never look back.

Disappointed
»
I am so disappointed with this vacuum. It does pick up pet hair ok but will not pick up larger things such as cat litter. Also gets clogged easily. Definately not worth the price.

Does the job...

It is what it is...a long handled cordless hand vacuum. Works well, moves effortlessly, eats dust bunnies. I can zip it around entire downstairs hadwood floor area (800sq/ft) quickly picking up all the little debri that I track in on my boots. I got a really good price for mine at $50.00. Not sure if it I would spend a whole lot more than that for one though.

Love this stick vac!
»
There are so many mixed reviews of the Dirt Devil Kruz but I love it. It flies across my wood floors practically by itself on the gliders. It picked up the dust bunnies, needles from the Christmas tree, and various assorted dirt. The dirt cup is a good size and easy to dump and clean. This is the perfect vac for in between using my central vac. I cleaned both my upstairs and down on one charge so I would say the battery life is more than adequate. Very pleased!
