Stopped working properly at 9 months!
»
Like others, I was pleased with the cooler until it stopped working properly. No matter what temperature I set, it stays at 64 degrees. Sure it was rather inexpensive but if you average cost per bottle stored --- it is actually rather pricey. Very disappointing!

Previous 5-Star Review Revoked
»
A year ago I wrote a 5-star review through Target, but they will not allow me to amend it, but I feel I need to for safety's sake: Yes for about 10 months it worked great, but a few weeks ago it started making very loud weird noises. I had it on a level surface and vacuumed the fan regularly per the manufactures instructions, but noise kept getting louder. Then, yesterday I came home and there was a horrible electrical odor coming from it and temperature rose to 68 degrees; it seemed to be dying a slow, painful death. My husband put it out of it's misery and removed the electrical cord and inside components. Now I have a lovely $80 non-cooling wine storage unit.

Was good until it stopped...
»
Bought for my parents last Christmas and about 9 months after use, it stopped working and wouldn't chill any more, it just wouldn't go below 65 no matter what the temperature/LED was set to. They seemed to like it before it stopped working properly.

Emerson 8 Bottle Wine Cooler
»
Makes a great gift item! Has a small footprint and saves counter space while providing a great temperature for your wines. Would recommend it to others interested in purchasing an effective wine cooler at a good price.
