Collect stuffed animals, blocks, games, and costumes in this attractive toy chest from Lipper International. With a rounded back cresting, the chest doubles as a bench with a 21-1/4-inch seat height, great for story time or doll display. An assortment of child-friendly design attributes clearly reflects the toy chest's intended audience. Double hinges prevent the lid from slamming closed, while front finger slots further reduce the odds of pinched fingers. The chest's broad, flat surface offers young artists a great surface for coloring. For fans of hide-n-seek, two air holes are installed on the chest's backside. Two side handles enable transportation and also serve as low-profile armrests. Made in Thailand, the toy chest features durable beech wood construction. A nontoxic pecan finish enhances the toy chest's veneer and protects from splinters. To clean, wipe the chest down with a soft damp cloth and dry immediately to prevent wood damage. The toy chest's design best befits indoor use, and also is available in natural, cherry, and white finishes. Upon delivery, some assembly is required. The toy chest measures 33-3/8 by 18-1/2 by 24-1/4 inches. This item weighs 34 pounds upon shipping. --Jessica Reuling

Very good toy chest
»
I like this toy chest: it has enough room to put away toys, it looks nice and and it is very safe for the babies. The reason I didn't give it a 5-star is because it has some unpleasant smell that does not go away with time.

I purchased this chest (in white) for my 22 month old daughter. Her room is small, so I wanted something that wasn't too big and obtrusive. It is the perfect size! It looks to be well built and is kid safe. The lid has safety hinges and closes slowly, so as to not pinch those little fingers. I also like the fact that there are breath holes in the back, should your little one decide to climb in and "hide". My daughter is over the moon about this toy chest. The first few days, she wanted to take naps on it.. We pretended, naturally. She loves this. It is a nice piece of furniture and a happy addition to her nursery. I highly recommend it.

My main concern with a toy chest was safety. I had a friend who used an army trunk for a toy chest. The lid fell on her son's neck and broke it. Very sad. So when Hayden was born, I did what any concerned Grandparent would do: I shopped around until I found the best chest possible for his little toys. I loved it! It matches his bed and little changing table also. BUY THIS CHEST!!

I love this toy chest

I bought this toy chest for my twin granddaughters. I have it in my house so they can have something to put their toys in.
What I like about it is that it fits lots of toys and when I open it the cover does not fall down.
It is made well.
I'm very happy with it.

great toy box

Love it. It is big enough to hold a lot of toys, it stays open and the kids can crawl all over it. It is also very easy to put together. If you want a toy box, this is the one
