Her hand-carved forms reveal their expression through gestures only⦠a tilt of the head, placement of the hands, a turn of the body. I LOVE MY WILLOW TREE

This was the very first Willow Tree I had ever seen. It seemed to capture the very essence of the love of a mother and son. It was refreshing because I usually see the mother/daughter relationship celebrated. I quickly snatched it up, and the next thing I see is the The Willow Tree "Heart of Gold," another little boy that looked a lot like my other son. And a year later I have purchased over 32 Willow Trees and stil going strong. I've heard some people say that they think it's weird that Willow Trees have no faces. I like it that way. They capture an attitude, a posture that reminds you of someone you know. And before you know it, it becomes your most prized possession.
