« Finally a Great Book Light! »

I am one of the MANY who purchased one of the Mighty Light book lights, and ended up disappointed and returned it. Fortunately, I have learned to save my boxes and packing materials for ANY Amazon purchases just in case I do ever need to return something. In this case, it was relatively painless to get a Return Authorization, label, and credit to my account. I ended up researching the remaining book lights listed on Amazon, reading scads of reviews, and eventually decided upon the Xtra Flex 2. I felt like I was taking a chance again, and was fully prepared to "go outside of Amazon" to find what I needed, but this light ended up being just Great!

Yes, it's delicate, appears fragile, and isn't "ruggidized" for taking with you backpacking or camping, but at home on the night stand it's perfectly acceptable AND reliable. The fact that it's a cool Electric Blue is also a plus. What more can you ask for that it works when you need it, switch does it's job without problems, and the battery lasts anywhere from 4-6 weeks at a little over an hour a night's use. DON'T BE AFRAID, Go Ahead and Buy This One! You won't be disappointed (at least from my experience).

« Great product! »

Great product! I use mine with my Kindle; my husband is a die hard book lover! I bought 4 for us and for gifts! The length of the arm is perfect as some others were too long. It has two settings: hi and low light. The different 'electric' colors are fun!

I had two of these xtra flex book lights and I really loved them until the clip broke and I couldn't attach them to my books any longer. So, if you are clumsy like me and mess around with your booklight alot...beware of this little default. Would I buy it again? Yes!

Don't expect it to last more than a few months. It works nicely while it works but my first lasted about 6 months and the second has started to go after a couple of weeks.
