No rain gauge
»
The picture shows a rain gauge and the product description says it measures rain however no rain gauge is included - it costs extra. Very misleading.

Oh my, why didn't I return it when I had the chance?
»
When I first opened the box it looked like 10,000,000 pieces to put up and/or together to get this thing running. There was even a paper on top stating that before you send this back to the retailer please call the customer service hot line? Does that tell you right away how easy this thing is to operate? I've talked and emailed their CS and still can't get everything to work the way it should. Too many things to list. I did notice that they just put this new product out in 2007 and now it is no longer available, well duh! If you find one like I did for $100 when it was $270 a year ago, BUYER BEWARE!!

problems with support
»
The product operates as advertized and probably a good value for the price paid. I have been emailing technical support since the day the product arrived and have never revieved a response to my questions. If I were to recommend a weather station to my neighbors in Colorado or Hiltion Head Island I would relay my experience with LaCrosse.

weather station
»
I like the weather station very well. The only reason I did not give it a 5 is that I would rather it showed the inside and outside temp at the same time rather then having to toggle thru it. Also you cannnot pick it up without hitting one of the buttons.
