Returned after a couple of weeks. Heart rate monitor was not consistent. I bought this one because I bought the previous version a year earlier and the heart rate monitor stopped working after a year. Other than that it was a great watch.

« Would give it zero if i could! »
You definitely can't use this if you are actively exercising. I take a spin class and tried to get readings throughout. Only once did it work! I had to hold the button down (as i am riding_) for more than 8 seconds. Even after holding it for that long, it wouldnt give a reading. I returned it the next day! JUNK!

« Not good for running »
I got this for checking my heart rate while running. It does not work for that. It works perfectly while walking or while taking a water break in an exercise class. However, it does not seem to register a heart rate while running or doing other high impact activities. You have to slow down to a walking pace to get a reading.

For being designed for women, it is also HUGE. I have it on the tightest adjustment, so that there is a long "tail" hanging off. Not a big deal, but kind of an annoyance. I'll be returning this.

If you are looking for something to check your heart rate periodically while walking, this is a good product. If you are looking for something to continuously monitor your heart rate, or to monitor your heart rate during vigorous exercise, keep looking.

    « I want one! »
I got this watch for my friend as a Christmas gift, and now I think it's my turn! Obviously it is not the most technically advanced heart rate monitor watch you could buy, but this little watch gets the job done, and the no strap, one touch heart rate button is great. It will be great for watching your heart rate and counting calories while running the track inside the gym. It was also great to see how many calories you burn while doing chores. It gives you a little more motivation to clean that kitchen when you know how many calories you burn while doing it :). Fun, Fun, Fun, I would definitely reccomend this watch.

« Fine for certain circumstances »
I purchased this watch to use during a specific type of exercise class. Unfortunately, this is not the best heart rate monitor for what I need it for. Since you have to press and hold the button to read your heart rate, I need to take time away from the exercises in order to do that. I think this would be great as a monitor during jogging, etc., but it does not work well for the class I attend.
