This a good product. I have 8 indoor-only cats and it's great to walk into the house and not smell any odor. We use clay litter, so the cartridges last much longer, as there are no large clumps of urine. You can also make it last longer by not turning the wheels all the way -- you get two uses with one wheel turn.
Two items that could be greatly improved: 1) Put a colored tab on the plastic at the beginning of the cartridge so that it can be started without wasting plastic. 2) Put a much larger black stripe at the end so that you really know when it's ending.

The litter locker is worth every penny! This makes it so much more convenient to scoop the cat box daily, or as often as necessary, with absolutely no lingering odor and no need to make a trip to the dumpster outside each time!

Bought a litter locker just over a year ago, and my wife raves about how simple it is to use and maintain. Refills still cost a bit more than they probably should based on my knowledge of the manufacturing process and perceived value vs received value, but the prices are starting to come down. Overall, we highly reccommend this product.

The cat litter lock system works on the same principle of a baby diaper disposal system. It works very well, although I would like it more if the capacity was a little bigger. My only actual complaint is that when I first started buying this product there was a very visible thick dark line on the plastic when it was getting close to the end of the roll. Rec ently I've noticed that the line is virtually non-existent causing some messy clean-ups occassionally if I'm not paying close attention.
All in all though, it is a very good product for handling a messy problem.
