The Hot H20 X-Press from Aroma provides boiling water in a matter of minutes. boils water like magic. great for french press coffee, instant oatmeal, tea, instant noodle soups, etc. so fast! looks good and well made.

« the product was an excellent choice »

i am loving the product. however, i am very suspicious of Amazon's policy on how to manage the open(return) items. Amazon kept on sending me the item(s) that were not new. i bought 2 of the product. one for my office and the other one for my home. i opened the first box and instantly, i felt in love with the product. i liked the look and its functionality. my suspicion arose when i opened the 2nd box. when i inspected inside of the kettle, i knew right away that this was an open(return or used) item. it had scratches & rusty spots inside the kettle. i would have not known if i didn't look inside the kettle. it looked a brand new from outside. although Amazon sent me the replacement, i am still suspicious of their handling of the open(return) items. i am sure there were thousands of return items. i am wondering how Amazon manages those open items. is Amazon being honest about those open items? i guess i have to give them the benefit of the doubt. « Just perfect »

I bought this for my shared office space and thus far it has worked just perfectly for us. Seems well engineered and is attractive. The cord is a little short and it makes a little more noise that I would have thought. The "deep discount" rate turned out to be $2 more than at Target but oh well - it came right to my door with free shipping.

« Will Break - Not good value »

For the price and the fast heating, it seemed good but ours broke in less than a year. We used it moderately, just the two of us, so it should have lasted better. Some of the other reviews say the same thing- it is made cheaply and breaks -- a trap for consumers, be warned.

« Perfect solution, done right »

I reviewed this once alreay, kind of... think I forgot to hit "publish", so I'm doing it again... anyhoo... I was hoping it would work as well as expected, and it totally does. One of the nice things is that it won't overboil your water if you have to walk away for a while... it shuts off when it's done heating it up, instead of whistling, which is a nice safety feature when you have little kids distracting you!! Best of all, I can make tea in my office area, rather than going downstairs to the kitchen to make it, so there's less interruption. It's simple, good price, and works quite well... VERY happy :)
