Does not fit the keyboard flush. You will not be able to properly close your macbook. If you order from hightek toys it will take about a month to get to you. Just so you all know.

I ordered this item thinking it would be pretty good having 4 1/2 stars and all, but it's not really all that great in my opinion. I haven't had it for all that long, so I guess it's no surprise that it's not very dirty, but my main issue is the way it fits on my Macbook. It fits pretty loosely, so I'm frequently having to adjust the edges, pulling or tugging it into place because it moves. It also moves pretty much every time I open it. Other than the fitting issue, I guess it's alright. But I think I might just resort back to using alcohol wipes to keep my keys and palm rests clean.

I have had my macbook for almost 2 years now and i was unintelligent and did not get apple care, so i needed to find a way to keep the computer safe and clean so i dont have to pay tons of money for repairs. This cover is very simple and makes the keyboard look brand new. Also the macbook has a bad habit of cracking where the ridges on the top of the screen touch the other side when closed. This prevents this problem and repairs that can cost way more than you would ever expect

some minor issues

I purchased this product because it covered not only the keyboard on my macbook, but the bottom portion near the trackpad as well. (The trackpad itself is not covered, but the mouse button is.) A couple of issues with this product:
-The printed labels for the f1 - f12 keys do not match the keys themselves. i.e., f3 is labeled with the mute symbol even though the mute key is actually f10. So you'll have to memorize the locations of these keys if you plan to use them.
-The bottom corners tend to lift off, especially if you have loose sleeves that catch on them.
