I don't want to sound like an infomercial but this tool is by far the best tool I've found to use on my dog. He's a Labrador and sheds like crazy all year round. This thing somehow removes the shedding fur, both top coat and under coat. Pretty amazing. It doesn't cut or pull. I'm really not sure how it works. He seems to like it. I use it every few days or more depending on how much he is shedding. I love that there's no fur floating about the house now. And I really notice less fur in the vacuum cleaner. Very happy with this tool!

The Furminator is worth every penny! It is easy to use and efficiently desheds my dogs. The hair in my house has been drastically reduced and my dogs' coats even look and feel better and healthier. I strongly recommend this product. It is a little pricey (if you're frugile like me), but you won't regret your purchase I promnise!
Oh, one thing is that you want to make sure you buy the appropriate size blade for your dog. It will be difficult to use the large brush on a small dog. My parents had to buy one small for their pug and one large for their mastiff. In this case, size does matter :p

I didn't believe the FURminator could possibly work as well as you see on their ads until a neighbour showed me his. It truly does get out SO much fur, even when the dogs don't even seem to be shedding. I immediately came on line and ordered one! My dogs love it, and I now have less cleaning to do in my house. Win, win :)
