It works rapidly and I am assuming it is accurate. Tested in boiling water and it read 210 Deg F.

Thermometer reads ok, handle doesn't hold on, tends to fall off, unit is too small to hold without handle attacted.

Mine came a little inacurate, but after I calibrated it (very easy, instructions included) it was dead one. Not quite instant though...more like 3 seconds or so, but thats more than quick enough. The cover also serves as a handle, which is nice. For the price, a great value.

Havent had it long.

More accurate and faster than the last one. It died after 3 years, didn't like getting wet. Will see how long this one lasts.
