    « Good heating power »
I bought it because the concern of traveling by plane with gas bottles, instead, you can buy coleman liquid gas or unleaded fuel almost everywhere.

It's a little tricky the use of this stove, in cold days you have to warm it up before you cook, and sometimes the flame makes black your pans.
When it starts to work it works very well with a good heating power.

I rather use the gas cartidge type, (no hassle, no dirt, no spills,) since I discovered in my last trip chatting with diferent people from around the world, that you can find the "universal" gas cartidges for gas stoves almost in every camping and even in the petrol gas station stores.

    « Well-made and Designed Stove »
I just got back from a wilderness trip and took the Coleman 442 dual fuel stove with me. I was out 3 days and took extra Coleman fuel but didn't need it. The 442 has an ample built-in fuel storage tank that holds a solid couple hours worth of petro. I did practice with the stove at home before hitting the trail; just to make sure I was adept at its requirements. It is a bit tempermental and you have to follow Coleman's lighting instructions to the letter. Once I got the starting routine down, it performed almost flawlessly.
It is a bit bulky but that's because it's made of steel and sturdier than most other stoves. The foldable legs adjust nicely to uneven surfaces and keep it level. In summary, it kicks out a lot of heat, boils water as quick as any of the other stoves out there, and is an excellent value for the money. (I shopped around and was surprised at the price fluctuations between suppliers on this stove. I got a great deal at a non-Amazon site.)

    « Good lightweight stove. »
This is a good lightweight stove. I use it with the white gas. I wouldn't recommend unleaded gas except for emergencies. It's dirty and you really don't want to cook with and handle it if you don't have to. Plus Coleman's white gas is very cheap at camping stores.
I had this out and burning all night recently when I had a party. I put it in the middle of a large round table outside and got some cocktail franks, marshmellows, and shish kabob sticks for a mini cookout. It was the hit of the party and burned all night without a problem (except refilling). Easy to start and maintain (though it will get a bit dirty after using it a while). I recommend this and one or two extra bottles for fuel. It's a good size for one or two people camping.
