Long and strong enough to hang just about anything on, this multi-purpose wall hook keeps long-handle tools, scooters, and sports equipment in easy reach. Cords, lawn chairs, shovels, and kids toys; the hook holds up to 50 pounds and is equipped with a protective lip at the end so that items don't slip off and fall to the floor. Long-handle tools store upside down with spades and broom heads resting solidly between this hook's 2-bar design. Long-handle tools with perpendicular hand grips fit between the two bars right-side-up. The unit mounts easily to wall studs or to the Rubbermaid FastTrack rail (sold separately on Amazon.com along with a full line of FastTrack storage system components). The hook has a cast-aluminum gripper that snaps tightly into the FastTrack rail system. The hook is protected with a soft coating that won't scratch. This "stuff" is great. It is sturdy for handing heavy items, but flexible. We can rearrange our hanging items, depending upon the season....lawn tools, camping items, golfing, etc. The system has shelving, too, which we use when we bring in our deck plants for the winter and put them in front of the garage windows. It is a bit pricey, but well worth it for the sturdiness. Too bad you can't find everything in one place. We've had to purchase items from various big box hardware stores and several sources on-line, just to get what we wanted. We like it so much that we are probably going to add it to our basement storage to get items up off the concrete floor. BTW: One multi-purpose hook, purchased here, will hold several yard tools, while two of them hold a canopy in its bag, and another two hold the foldable hammock horizontally, both are very heavy! They are now up high, off the floor, but readily available, when needed. One of these hooks also holds three 6-foot folding tables (by their handles). So versatile!
