If you have kids or pets, you will wonder what your life was like before you had this. Parents, you understand the annoyance of the daily kitchen-floor-crumb-removal. This thing makes it painless. I used to drag out my upright vacuum, attach the tube, etc. and suck up crumbs from my kitchen floor and it was a pain. This thing has no cord and is quick and easy to use. The little handheld part pops right off and is great for doing stairs. I love this vacuum.

Big disappointment
»
I bought this little vac for quick cleanups and vacuuming the stairs. I thought it was expensive but was willing to pay for Electrolux quality. Pluses: the vacuum is very quiet, is light, and swivels nicely. Minuses: The charge lasts only about 5 minutes and has very little suction. Also, the spin of the brushes prevent the vac from moving forward on carpet. The only alternative is to pull it toward you, and then pick it up and move to a new spot. It is fine for picking up crumbs on hardwood floors but useless for anything more than that.

Very disappointed
»
I had high hopes for this vacuum since it has the Electrolux name on it and was more expensive than competitive models. But it has NO suction. I bought it for cleaning hardwood floors and small area rugs. The rotary brush works fine while in the air, but once it touches the floor it stops. I haven't been able to pick up anything other than dust bunnies.
I WILL say that it swivels nicely and reaches under furniture well. Just wish it would actually work while under there!

Top of the line vacuum
»
I've had this vacuum for over 2 years without any problems. In fact, it's become my main vacuum since I have hardwood floors and short carpets.
It charges easily, the swivel head makes it very convenient, and the pullout hand vac is really easy to use and clean.
Obviously this is not for big jobs or thick carpets.
Also, I've never had a problem with the charge running out...never. I'm sure if you were to try to do your whole house that might happen, but this is meant as a quick cleaner upper.

Great for sweeping on hard floors, terrible for carpets or deep cleaning
»
There are some things to like with this unit, but a lot that didn't work for me - which made this an over-priced broom that I returned.
Likes:
Lightweight
Cordless
Good on hardwood or other hard surfaces for loose dirt
Dislikes:
Could not move in more than one direction on carpet (the convenient swivel head actually makes the unit too floppy and it won't move back and forth)
Does not provide a deep clean
I would recommend the unit for light sweeping situations in an all hard floor household. Of course, for the price, it's a really expensive broom.
I would not recommend for household with pets, or carpets.
