Illuminarie Globes Glow in the Dark. Real blown glass 10" diameter gazing globes. This globe features a unique design that is sure to attract attention in any garden setting - during the day or at night! It glows in the dark with a beautiful Milky Way design. Garden globes have seen a huge revival in popularity in recent years, especially when combined with a unique supporting pedestal. A variety of supporting pedestals are available separately, and many people now like to have several different colors and styles of globes so they can be alternated in the garden.

Echo Valley Gazing Globe
»
Despite the fact that the globe is in full sun all day, and that my back yard is dark at night, with no surrounding light in the area, the globe does not glow. It is very pretty during the day, but the fact that it doesn't glow at night is most disappointing.
Would not have purchased this item if I knew that in advance.

The picture reflects a stand but does not come with one - easy to think there is a stand with this item.

Sent this to Hawaii - very expensive to ship - upon arrival - my brother informed me there was no stand with it. Being a typical shopper and in a hurry, I saw a picture with the stand and bought it. Guess what - no stand comes with this item even though it is reflected in the picture. The contents section does state stand not included, but again a hurried buy and buttons too easily pushed to buy it and then spend almost as much money on shipping as the unit cost itself (with no stand).
Very dissapointed at this point.

Echo Valley 8140 Glow-in-the-Dark Illuminarie 10-Inch Gazing Globe

This is a very different gazing ball in that it is transparent and spirally painted. A portion of the paint is luminescent so that it glows in the dark.

Gazing Glode Glow
»
I ordered this thinking it would glow bright for at least a few hours (4-5 hrs). It glows but it is suttle and lasts only 2 1/2 hours on solar power charge. Glass is very fragile and not very reflective during the daylight. But I do like the uniqueness of the solar glow.

Glow Gazing Ball

This gazing ball is very nice, the only additional features that I would have liked are: more glow in the dark swirls and less of a knob on the bottom for stands that are open (you can see the knob).
