Malaseb Shampoo contains Miconazole û an antifungal with potent activity against fungi and yeast û and Chlorhexidine Gluconate û a proven antimicrobial agent active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. This synergistic formulation effectively removes scales, degreases the skin and kills cutaneous microorganisms that primarily or secondarily cause dermatitis. Clinical trials show Malaseb to be an effective treatment and control of Seborrheic dermatitis associated with Malassezia pachydermatitis and Staph intermedius. A shampoo that really works

My 7 year old Springer Spaniel had a dermatitis (for 4 months) that would not respond to Clavamox (antibiotic) or any topical medication. Her back, tail, area around the eyes and ears was covered with small bumps that would erupt, scab over and NOT go away. I read about Malaseb on the internet and thought I would give it a try. After just 2 applications (and another antibiotic) there was noticable improvement.......I started the shampoo treatments BEFORE the antibiotic so I would know if any improvement was the result of the shampoo or the oral medication. It has no unpleasant odor and leaves the coat soft (but not shiny).

My ShihTzu has terrible itching and the vet recommended this product. We paid $30 for an 8 oz. bottle. When it was gone, I needed more to help my pup. I began searching the net and found this site to be the cheapest. Ordered and it came rapidly. Will be back when I run low again!! Thanks!!

Great Product for Itchy Black Lab

My black lab has a real problem with itchy skin. We think she is allergic to grass. This shampoo and spray have made a huge difference with her. I shampoo her about twice a week, and use the spray between baths. She still scratches, but not nearly as much as she once did. I would recommend this to anyone who has a dog with itchy skin. It has really helped Lucky.

My lab has had battles with dry, itchy, flaky(and at times stinky) skin for years and I've tried several different means of combatting it with little help. Then, a friend of mine who's dog had been having similar skin issues told me her vet recommended using this product on her dog. So, I tried it and it has made a great difference in my dog's skin. She doesn't flake as much, her scratching greatly has lessened, her hair doesn't shed as much, and that icky "dog smell" isn't an issue anymore. The product leaves her coat very shiny and clean and there's no medicine smell like some products can leave. Very satisfied with this purchase overall.
