Great for Removing wallpaper

We purchased this to remove wallpaper in our house. We finished the front hallway, stairs and upstairs hallway in less than twenty hours actual working time, including a final wash of the relatively small amount of residual glue. It took us a couple hours to establish the best system; my wife steamed and I scraped. The clean walls required only minimal repairs from the wallpaper removal. Repairs to the original construction is a different story. The kitchen is next in 2009.
Oh yes, it did a good job steaming my suits after I cleaned it up from the previous job; the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser can clean anything.

This product is completely useless. I guess it's true; you get what you pay for. Where do I start? This product is flimsy, unstable, awkward and oh yeah, it doesn't remove wrinkles. I bought this product today, and I'm taking it right back to the store... TODAY.

I'm no steamer pro, but I love my steamer!

Understanding that I have never used much less owned a steamer before this, I can not explain how incredibly happy I am with this product!
I use it exclusively for delicate clothes or t-shirts that can not be ironed or look strange if they are ironed. I still use my iron regularly for heavier duty clothes, but for draping tops and dresses, THIS IS A MIRACLE WORKER!
You plug it in and it starts to warm up and gets hot in about a minute. There's plenty of steam - I wrap the head of the steamer in a thin kitchen towel so that any condensation doesn't drip onto the fabric I'm steaming and I still get plenty of kick.
I'm sure higher end models are fancier and better in many aspects - but I wouldn't use a steamer for everything and I don't use it every day.
This is for people (like me) who need a few garments in their wardrobe occasionally steamed wrinkle free - it's not for the going-pro seamstress, or the person who wants to throw out their iron.
The only downside (and it's not terrible) is that it's pretty big, so you have to have decent closet space to keep it out of eyesight.
I'd purchase one again in a heartbeat.

I no longer use my iron.

My sister received one of these for Christmas and raved about it. I bought one and agree - it is great! I truly have not used my iron since I bought it. I've used it on shirts, pants, jeans, Cashmere and regular sweaters and jackets. The only criticism is that I wish it had a pole that extended as a hanger instead of the hanger that comes with it. I end up holding some items on a hanger to steam them. Wouldn't hesitate to buy one for that reason though.
