After using the shampoo a few times, I do think I'm noticing that it at least takes the edge off my dog's scratching--enough that I've cancelled the appointment I had with the allergy vet. So I'm going to continue to use it, and would recommend it--not necessarily as a cure, but as a help--and every little bit helps.

We have been using the Malaseb shampoo on our Shar-peis for a year now. It has been the only product that we have found that has helped to cure their ongoing skin problems. Our one dog had lost nearly half of her fur and was constantly biting/scratching herself. We had ruled out fleas as an irritant and by recomendation from the vet had tried Malaseb. We bathed her twice a week, according to the directions, until improvement showed. then bathed her once a week. She eventually regained all of her fur and more. The product has also helped to reduce that "dog" smell.

Lathers well. Used on Shar-Pei that appeared to have a grass allergy. No further problems with skin. Will make this a regular part of her grooming.
