Good, Yes....Fantasic!...not so much

Though it works pretty well, it certainly doesn't pick-up dog hair as well as the brushroll-type adapter. It does work good directly on-the-dog and he likes it too. It doesn't, however, get the undercoat hair like the furminator deshedding tools, but I haven't seen any of those with any vacuum attachments (which would be nice).
Ultimately, with my dog, petting/actually pulling at the hair seems to work best and it almost seems that a massage kneading attachment hooked to a vacuum would really better do the trick. Or even like a bag/sheet made from hair-attractive material on the inside and hair-loosening fingers as well which would hook to a vacuum so that at least the hair wouldn't fly all over the place. It seems the only pet-hair savior is the dryer....yet I surely am not suggesting putting my dog in there...
