So easy to use and humane!
»
I love this product. We also tried the Sharper Image product that sucks the insects in and then spits them out. It was a tiny bit easier to use, but the spider we tried it on lost a leg.
This product is more "manual", so you can make sure that the insect gets in the little box before sliding the door closed. Once it's closed, the insect is in a comfortable place with plenty of air.
The only thing is that you can't use it in a corner. The opening of the box is about 1.5 inches square, and you need to get it flat against a wall or window in order to shut the opening with the insect inside. If you are too scared to nudge the little guy out of a corner, then get the vacuum one.

Bug Buddy

Reptile ZM Bug Buddy Catcher I have had a Bug Buddy for years and use it over and over again on a daily basis. I'm one of those people who can't kill anything so I was always having to find something to catch insects in order to throw them back outside. This product is perfect! I can catch any bug, spider or insect, slide the little trap door closed to prevent their escape and then safely place them outside. No squish marks on the walls from a flyswatter, etc. I love this product and I'm planning to purchase another one.

Bug catcher review
»
I have pet Praying Mantis's and am always having to catch crickets that escape. I had squished a few not knowing what part of the cup they were in before. Now that we got the Bug Catcher we no longer have injured or squished crickets. The thing is clear and has a nice switch on the botton to make the door close once you ensurew your bug is in the receptacle. It's great! It even helps catch pesky spiders or moths that get in the house.
