While this traditional Asian teapot cries out for green tea, it's such a joy to use that it would be a shame not to put it to work every day. The well designed lid won't fall off even when you're pouring out the very last drops of tea. It comes with a stainless steel infuser so you can remove the leaves after steeping--especially important when you're preparing delicate green teas. The cast iron keeps brewed tea extremely hot, and the inside is lined with porcelain enamel, so the iron won't interact with tea or impart a metallic taste. Please note: This teapot is for steeping & serving tea. It is not safe for stove-top use.

It's a nice teapot and made from cast iron (you could actually feel the weight of the teapot even with it's size) the down side is, you really have to make sure it's really dry after washing it, and I recommend to store the product separately, take the infuser and lid off when storing because mine, the rim of the teapot became rusty, and I made the mistake on putting it on top of my stainless steel drying rack, and now I have a rust stain mark on it too. So I just put it away, great conversation piece by the way.
