Quit working in a few months
»
First of all my hose didn't work, like another reviewer. They did send me a free new one. Then it worked great for a few months. Then it just quit. Won't even turn on. I lost my paperwork so I couldn't claim the warranty. Be sure you keep yours, but it may break right after the year anyway.

there is a learning curve
»
the negative is that there just isn't an instructional video that shows techniques...there is a learning curve you have to go through...it is NOT as easy as it made to look on TV...the only other negative is that there is no way to store the power cord...
the positive is that I am improving and getting better results in a shorter amount of time...it's taken patience...bottom line, it's a thumbs up...I like the results I'm getting now and it is easy, once you learn how...

Steamer
»
The steamer takes a bit of getting used to, but it works well for all the shirts I had to do. It's easy to put together and steam comes out quickly and consistently. The only problem I ran into were the hard wrinkles that took 2-3 passes. But it beats a steam iron.

I now can iron !
»
I'm a guy and I've always been terrible at ironing and I hate it. My wife bought me this present for fathers day and when I opened it I was at first disappointed. (I was secretly hoping for a Blu Ray Player) But I have seen the infomercials about these steam products and was curious if they really work. Well my BW and I followed directions and in no time got it up and running. (very easy to assemble) The directions on how to iron using steam were poor but after experiementing different ways on using the wand, I can tell you I am an expert at ironing with steam. The wand not only removes wrinkles, it also removes lint very well! I did 6 short sleeve various heavly wrinkled polo shirts and as I used the unit more I became faster and better at it. Then I tried a linen shirt that my BW said can only be dry cleaned. It took a little longer than a polo shirt, but it worked well. All wrinkles removed. Before going to the gym, took the wrinkles out of my gym shirt! Haven't tried jeans yet, but I can tell that they will work well. There is a very slight water drip that can come from the wand, but I did not find it to be a problem and you can eliminate this by how long you hold the wand trigger. We will keep this in our laundry room and it will get much use. Very happy!
