Generously proportioned with a 22-by-11-inch cooking surface, this indoor electric griddle cooks enough pancakes or hamburgers for a large crowd. Similar to Presto’s Model 07038 22-Inch Electric Griddle, this model features a smoother, more professional grade nonstick finish. Because food doesn’t stick easily, the griddle requires very little grease, thereby producing healthier food. For fattier meats like bacon, a groove along one side channels drips through a small hole into a sturdy plastic container that slides completely out for cleaning. When the griddle’s heat control is removed, the unit is fully submersible in warm, soapy water. The 1500-watt griddle plugs into any 120-volt outlet and automatically maintains any temperature setting from warm to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Made of heavy duty cast aluminum that resists warping and distributes heat evenly, the griddle overall measures 27 by 13 by 4-1/2 inches and is covered by a two-year warranty against defects. --Ann Bieri

Making pancakes, french toast and bacon is an ease with the Presto 22 inch griddle. It is the perfect size for a family of four. I would not call it Jumbo. The heating is even throughout but I do need to set the heat lower than the recipe instructions, for example if the recipe calls for 375 degrees, I use 300 degrees. For pancakes there is no need for using oil since the non-stick is really non-stick. I have only had the grill about 1 month but so far it's the best grill I have ever owned. I look forward to making breakfast now since I know it will only take 10 minutes!

Too thin, too irratic, too innaccurate

I purchased this griddle to replace one that I had used every weekend for 5 years. This was the highest rated model on amazon so I got it. Right off the bat I knew this was not going to go well. The temperature range was was off (250 degrees on the dial got me over 350 on the surface of the griddle). Additionally the material of the griddle is too thin. Every pancake I made was overdone in the center and underdone on the edges. Also you could see that the overdone parts were right over the element creating a nice 1" stripe on each pancake. I tried making it work over the several months but it's time to try a new one. :(

My wife and I have 5 kids, all boys, so we need alot of room to cook. The large cooking area of this product is perfect for those pancake or grilled cheese meals that we are so fond of. Its heats evenly and cooks very well. The price was unbeatable as well!! I do recommend this product very much.
