Don't wait for a trip to Maine to enjoy fresh lobster, clams, crab and other seafood. Using this 19-qt. Lobster Steamer, you can cook up enough for all your friends and family right at home. The pot is designed to hold your seafood in the top pot and your water in the bottom, so instead of risking over-boiling your food, you get freshly steamed and ready to serve succulent results. The juicy broth captured in the bottom can be saved for making stews, bouillabaisse, chowder and sauces. The handy faucet spigot lets you easily drain or siphon off the liquid without wasting a drop. Columbian Home Products has been manufacturing its Granite Ware pots and pans for more than 125 years -- porcelain on steel cookware that's easy to handle and provides lasting performance and value.

Full steam(ers) ahead!

After reading other reviews prior to purchasing we are very satisfied with this steam pot. The day after we received it we had a small clambake in our back yard. The steamer worked perfectly. We used the stand from our "turkey fryer" as the heating element. The clams and the rest of our food turned out delicious. In fact, we had another clambake the following week. And again 2 weeks after that. We had no issues and can't wait to use again.

Clam Steamer Satisfaction

The Graniteware Clam and lobster steamer I ordered was to replace one that's been in my family for about 55 years and I couldn't be more pleased with it. It arrived in perfect condition when they said it would (how often does that happen?) Anyway, we've already used it twice and I'm looking forward to enjoying this one for the next 55 years or so!
