Circulon guarantees that food won't stick to this pan, and that it will outlast all other non-sticks. Now those are words to live and cook by! The patented rings provide a hi-lo cooking surface that gives food little to stick to, and the additional coating of non-stick material closes up any loopholes. So go ahead, make a rich cheesey sauce, it will slip right out of the pan. Holes in the lid of this pan also allow you to use it for cooking vegetables, potatoes and other foods in liquid. When the cooking is completed simply tip and drain off the cooking liquid through your choice of small or large holes.

The company that invented hard-anodized nonstick cookware, Circulon continues its pursuit of innovation with this 3-quart chef's pan, which features a locking colander lid for quick, simple straining. When you're finished boiling pasta or potatoes, simply flip the pan over and drain the water through the lid's straining holes. As an alternative, the pan is ideal for soups and small stews, stir-fries, and even a variety of one-pot meals. Circulon 2 cookware features hard-anodized aluminum construction for efficient heat distribution, and is coated with Circulon's Total Hi-Low food release system--an advanced nonstick coating specifically designed to last longer and release foods easier than other nonsticks. In addition, the pan features Circulon's patented Hi-Low series of concentric grooves that resist utensil abrasion, adding to the durability of the nonstick surface. The stainless-steel colander lid is polished to a mirror finish and includes a stay-cool phenolic handle on the top. As an added bonus, both the top and side handle feature slip-resistant synthetic grips for more secure handling. Like all Circulon 2 cookware, the pan is oven-safe to 350 degrees F and includes a limited lifetime warranty against defects. Hand washing is recommended. --Rivers Janssen

Cooks kettle corn perfectly--everytime!
»
I purchased this wonderful chef's pan nearly two years ago. It came in handy for so many recipes, but I was blown away the first time I tried it with cooking popcorn. Cooks the fluffiest popcorn evenly--nearly every kernel, nearly every time. And, with my family of popcorn gourmets, I cook popcorn at least once a week. My delight was intensified when I discovered the Circulon 3-quart chef's pan even perfectly cooks kettle corn--no scorching with the sugary base. Now I'm ordering chef's pans as Christmas presents, complete with my recipes for gourmet popcorn.Circulon 2 3-Quart Covered Chef's Pan with Locking Colander

Circulon 3 qt. chef's pan with locking lid
»
We have given 2 of the larger Circulon pans with locking lids as gifts. The people they were given to were very pleased with them, so we ordered a smaller one to give for Christmas to one of the people who already has the big one. Arrived promptly in good condition.

Fabulous!
»
It's been only one month since purchasing the Circulon collection which included this Covered Pan with the Locking Colander. The Colander fits upon the lip and then locks. You have to aligne the top with the locking bolts on the Colander; Once aligned it fits on smoothly.......After leaving the burner on too high, and allowing the water to completly evaporate from the pan, my potatos still turned out great; And the pan cleaned up with just a dish cloth. No damage was done to the pan at all. This pan has also been through the dishwasher without any problems.....The Circulon pan with Locking Colander is an absolute godsend; it works great with potatos that have been left unattended (smile), spaghetti, ground meats (it's great for draining excess fat off)..... This pan is top rated, and highly recommended as is the other pots & pans in the Circulon collection.
God bless!

Faulty Lids
»
My first order - the lid required excessive force to be secure on the pot - the second order wasn't much better. So, I give up and will switch brands.
