Calphalon Tri-Ply Copper unites centuries-old culinary tradition with distinctive style. Featuring graceful curves and a stunning combination of expertly finished, tri-bonded metals, this new collection is as beautiful as it is hard-working. Here, a 3-qt. Chef's Pan offers complete versatility when cooking. Use it to sear and brown meat, saute vegetables or cook a one-pan meal. A brushed copper exterior and aluminum inner core combine for superior conductivity (the best that there is) and precise cooking control for spectacular results. Fine-satin, brushed stainless steel interior won't react to foods and won't tarnish or change colors even when cooking acidic foods like tomato sauce. Other features include flared rims for easy pouring, well-riveted, curved handles that stay cool to the touch during stovetop use and stainless steel lids that trap steam, heat and flavors. Oven- and broiler-safe. Handwashing is recommended followed by thorough drying to avoid any spots.

This 3-quart chef’s pan with high sides cooks vegetables, reduces fruit sauces, or just warms leftovers. Part of Calphalon’s premium Tri-Ply Copper line, this brilliant stainless-steel and copper-accented cookware cooks as beautifully as it looks. The pan’s exterior is crafted of copper—-the superior metal for heat conduction—-and a heavy-gauge aluminum core runs through its center. The combination of these two metals provides more exact control while cooking and excellent end results. The interior is made of 18/10 stainless steel, which is nonreactive to acidic foods and offers a reflective surface that makes it easier to know when foods are completely cooked. This cookware has Calphalon’s patented stainless-steel Cool-V handles that stay cool to the touch on the stovetop and stainless-steel lids that fit snugly onto the pan for a tight seal. All Tri-Ply Copper cookware is oven-safe up to 450 degrees F and is covered by a lifetime warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

Quality cookware that's affordable
»
This cookware preforms as promised. Clean up is easy. I believe anyone having problems with stainless steel or copper cookware just don't know how to use it, and should stick to (no pun intended) non stick cookware.
The only draw back to this product is, that it's manufactured in China.

Fabulous!

Better than my All-Clad Copper Core! If you only have one larger saucepan this could be all you will need. Great I cannot wait to try out my 5-quart saucier and the large roaster.

Great Pan
»
Love this pan. This is the best pan that I have. It cooks fast and evenly. My other pans are a good stainless steel, but this is my favorite.

Outstanding pan.

This is an excellent pan, a little effort is required to keep the copper looking naturally beautiful but that is to be expected. It's heavy which is another indicator of the quality. Although vinegar and salt will clean the copper, they won't shine it so be prepared to use metal polish to have it looking it's best.

I LOVE this pan!
»
Not only is it beautiful in design but it is the most perfect size for making a thousand things. I've done soups, risottos, sauces and even chocolate melts for toppings by setting the angled pan bottom into one of my larger pots and using it like a double boiler.
If I could only keep one pan in my kitchen, this would be it! And if I ever win the lottery, I will buy a complete set of Calphalon Copper cookware for everyone I love.
