Accompanied by a bonus roasting rack, silicone bulb baster with an injector tip, and two 18/8 stainless-steel turkey lifters, this 16-by-13 inch roaster pan is ideal for cooking a massive turkey (19 to 25 pounds), two chickens, or a hefty prime rib. Made of heavy-gauge anodized aluminum, the pan is harder than steel and conducts heat evenly whether it's baking lasagna or caramelizing a roast's pan juices. The pan's riveted, cast-stainless-steel handles stand straight up for easy handling and are large enough to accommodate oven mitts. The rack has its own set of large handles and is coated with nonstick so it won't pull off pieces of a bird's browned skin. The bulb baster's injector tip can be used to squirt flavoring deep into a fowl or roast. The lifters each have four curved prongs for sliding under a turkey or roast so it can be easily removed from the rack and placed on a carving board or serving platter. Both pan and rack carry a lifetime warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

Nice product

I just received my new roasting pan and can't wait to use it. The only thing that I have had the opportunity to notice is that the pan is thin and I was under the impression that it would be thick. There is not non stick teflon on this pan so I'm not sure how well the pan will clean up. The handles are very functional!

Best price - best roaster anywhere!
»
This is the best roasting pan I have ever worked with! Beef, poultry, lamb, you name it. It is great for making lasagna (note: it takes two boxes and will feed about 20.) The forks make lifting any turkey a breeze. If you are really into seasoning meat, then get this set for the injector alone. I've even used this pan to make a large sheet cake. I've never had any problems cleaning it. Don't ever use any kind of steel wool or scotch-rite scrubber on Calphalon, and don't put it in the dishwasher, it will ruin it. The best part - the price Amazon offers - you won't find a better value.

Worth the money

My husband bought this pan and I thought he was crazy for spending so much on a pan. It was worth every penny! He loves to cook roasts which means I am usually the one cleaning up. None of the burned grizzle sticks to this pan. It just slides right off! The lifters are great too. The baster also has a pointy end and works as an injector too. Great pan! I highly recommend it!
